Augmented Reality and Indoor navigation for Enhanced aSSembly
R&D project coordinated by Skylife Engineering, belonging to the European call "Clean Sky 2", with the topic "Hardware demonstrator development and deployment on Future Industrial Human Machine Interface (HMI) and Connected factory technologies" (JTI-CS2-2016- CFP04-AIR-02-34), and in which the following two lines of research are carried out:
- Generation of an advanced and portable HMI (Human - Machine Interface), with connection to existing test systems, making use of Microsoft HoloLens augmented/mixed reality technology. It facilitates test operations in a real environment by showing the user relevant information about the process, physically guiding them through the work environment and allowing "hands-free" operations based on voice recognition and gesture control technologies.
- IoT networks and INDOOR positioning. Development and deployment of customised hardware that enables the interconnection between existing means of testing and the automatic collection and incorporation into an IoT network of the data extracted from them. It incorporates the capacity to position the user and the equipment inside the work area using Skylife Engineering's SILEME technology.
