Skylife Engineering SL, a high-tech company with over 10 years of experience in the aerospace sector, has received investment from José María Tarragó through Tarci Tech SL. This investment will allow the Andalusian company to strengthen its presence in the autonomous community and enhance the diversification of its business activities. The transaction involves Tarci Tech SL acquiring an 11.70% stake in the company's share capital and the appointment of Tarragó as vice president.
Skylife Engineering, founded and chaired by María Ángeles Martín Prats, had attracted interest from both domestic and foreign investment funds. However, it has ultimately chosen to allow national capital entry, given the clear industrial profile and value-added contribution of the new partner. The technology company's mission is to continue creating jobs from the Andalusian community, where it is considered a benchmark for its innovative capabilities.
The company, which will remain based in Andalusia after this operation, combines its technological excellence in the aerospace sector with the development of highly innovative solutions in other fields such as healthcare, education, and energy. The investment will contribute to strengthening its dedication to these sectors.
Skylife has multinational companies such as Airbus, Vodafone, and Navantia among its clients. It is located in the Cartuja Scientific and Technological Park, one of the main innovation spaces in Andalusia. Skylife is particularly valued for its design, development, and manufacturing of embedded systems, power conversion, and digitalization tools. Notably, it has been developing virtual simulation tools for Airbus DS for almost a decade and commercializing digital assistants in various sectors. Additionally, it has developed high technology with a positive impact, offering significant opportunities for improving efficiency in industrial processes.
The Seville-based company has worked on over a hundred R&D projects and is part of national and international consortia dedicated to promoting sustainable aviation with the implementation of hybrid and fully electric aircraft with no polluting emissions.
Since its inception over a decade ago, Skylife Engineering has maintained a close relationship with the University of Seville, particularly with the School of Engineering. In this regard, the company has an active program to facilitate the professional integration of university students and connect talent with industry. Furthermore, it upholds values such as equality and works towards greater involvement of women in the technology field.
