Skylife, new member of Andalucía Aerospace business cluster

22 March 2023

Skylife signs its incorporation as a full member of the Andalucía Aerospace business cluster, an important commitment that will promote synergies and growth of the company together with other major companies in the aerospace sector in Andalusia.

"With this relationship we seek to contribute to the Andalusian aerospace fabric with our innovative and differential technology, something that has characterized us since our beginnings," explained María Ángeles Martín Prats, president and co-founder of Skylife, after the signing.

Skylife is a high-tech company with a positive impact that develops innovative technological solutions with the aim of improving people's lives. Since its founding in 2011, it has made great advances in projects that start from aerospace technology and can now be applied to a multitude of sectors.

An example of technology applied to the aerospace sector is the Skylife MMIBS (Mini-Multi Interface Box Simulator), a revolutionary multiprotocol device of small dimensions that allows non-intrusive testing through different typical avionics interfaces to analyze the correct operation of the systems.

But the road can almost never be traveled alone, hence the importance of making alliances such as joining the Andalucía Aerospace business cluster: "We hope to achieve synergies with other Andalusian companies in the sector, always seeking collaboration and joint growth," says María Ángeles Martín Prats. Skylife has always been committed to disruptive and innovative technologies, and for this it is essential to work as a team and with the support of other companies in the aerospace sector in Andalusia, which is increasingly powerful and constantly growing.

Proof of this is the choice of Seville as the headquarters of the Spanish Space Agency, an environment surrounded by thriving companies in the sector, universities that train new talent and a communications network that allows us to be in contact with major cities around the world. "We are in a good moment for the aerospace sector in Andalusia and especially in Seville. The arrival of the Spanish Space Agency to the city is good news, and from Skylife we know that we can bring a multitude of technologies directly applicable to the sector," says María Ángeles Martin Prats.

Andalucía Aerospace has more than 85 members representing the entire value chain of the sector, from the design and manufacture of components to the provision of services and solutions for air transport.

The main objective of this business cluster is to promote the development and competitiveness of the aerospace sector in the region, fostering innovation, internationalization and collaboration among its members. To this end, the association promotes joint research and development projects, facilitates the transfer of knowledge and technology among its members and with other clusters at national and international level, and supports training and skills development in the aerospace sector.
